ReFocus, Inc. is a non-profit human service agency which serves adults with differing physical and developmental needs. We are an organization of dedicated people offering opportunities for growth in a loving, trusting, and challenging environment. We value and encourage the enhancement of the whole person, each with unique talents and strengths. We also value the right of using these gifts to make informed life choices.
Our Services
Residential Services
ReFocus supports people in 12 group homes throughout Northern RI. Each has 3-6 residents with 24-hour supports. All supports are person-centered and based on the individuals
wants, needs, and dreams.
Day Services
ReFocus offers three distinct day services for adults with disabilities. These programs provide an array of on and off-site opportunities for skill development, daily living skills, while fostering socialization through the arts, sports and community outings.
Fiscal Intermediary Services
Self-Directed services allow individuals to have the responsibility of managing all aspects of their service in a person-centered planning process.
Supportive Living Program
Supportive Living is about supporting someone in their home and their community. The level of support an individual receives is based on tier level and need.
Shared Living
We help to match adults with disabilities to compassionate host families, couples, or individuals who want to share their lives. We support over 40 individuals who live and engage with non-disabled families in environments where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.
Employment Services
ReFocus’ employment services are a workforce development program designed to help individuals find real jobs with real wages throughout Rhode Island.
